Lucknow: The Divisional Commissioner conducted a thorough inspection of the traffic management system in various key areas of the city, aiming to improve road discipline and ease congestion.
The inspection covered Ayodhya Road, Matiyari, BBD, and Tiwari Ganj, along with a surprise visit to Kanpur Road and Naderganj. The Commissioner emphasized the strict enforcement of traffic regulations, particularly in high-traffic zones.
During the inspection, the Commissioner reiterated that vehicle parking on blacktop roads is strictly prohibited. Additionally, a penalty system has been enforced for passenger pick-ups outside the designated Kamlta Bus Stand, ensuring smoother vehicular movement.
Authorities have urged commuters to adhere to traffic rules and cooperate with the administration to maintain order on city roads.
